Our History
In the early 1980s, a dedicated group of providers came together to establish Kitsap OBGYN, driven by a shared commitment to offer compassionate and personalized medical care for the women of Kitsap County and surrounding communities. From its inception, our vision has been to support women through every phase of life. Over the years, our practice has flourished, renowned for its exceptional obstetric and gynecological care, attracting additional doctors who share our philosophy of compassionate care. Today, Kitsap OBGYN stands as a beacon of excellence in the Northwest, with our doctors consistently earning prestigious accolades. Our commitment to providing outstanding care is reflected in the recognition we've received, including multiple top doc honors in Seattle Magazine's Top Docs awards, among over 6500 nominations. In addition, Kitsap OBGYN is consistently recognized as the Best of Central Kitsap for OBGYN care, as voted by our valued patients.

She is knowledgeable and caring, takes the time to explain everything, and answers all my questions. I have no complaints! I highly recommend her, and the practice location is super convenient with ultrasounds on-site and the lab right across the street, making for streamlined and convenient visits 👍

February 1, 2024 I have had an amazing overall experience at Kitsap OB/GYN. Melanie Jensen is amazing! She assisted in my C-section and provided the best prenatal care ever! Melanie is so sweet and gentle and made my pregnancy journey truly amazing and seamless. During my six week postnatal appointment she placed my IUD with basically no pain at all! She eased all of my anxieties surrounding my pregnancy and C-section.
Melanie is amazing and I recommend her to everyone looking for an amazing Nurse Practitioner!
